We specialise in ditch maintenance, ensuring efficient drainage, as well as vegetation management using heavy-duty flails and tree shears for clearing overgrown sites.

In addition, we provide scrub clearance and general excavation for projects including roadways, culverts, and drainage installations. Our operated plant hire solutions are available for both short and long-term contracts, offering skilled operators and reliable equipment to meet your site’s needs.

Ditch Maintenance
 
It is highly important to keep water courses clear to ensure water can flow freely allowing land to drain quickly. We can cover all aspects of ditch maintenance.

Excavator & Flail Hire

 We use heavy duty flails mounted on excavators, which are capable of mulching small trees, brambles and overgrown hedges and bushes, making and ideal combination for clearing areas ready for development, tidying up overgrown scrubland as well as manging overgrown hedgerows where normal hedge cutters aren’t quite powerful enough.

Remote Control Mowing and Mulching 
With the use of remote control mowers we can reach hard to access places such as steep slopes and embankments, areas with height restrictions like under solar panels. These mowers can cut grass with flail heads or also be used to mulch small trees and bushes as well as brambles where a conventional flail head isn’t strong enough
Tree Sheering

Alongside the flails we also use tree shears for trees too big for the flails allowing us to cut up to 400mm in one go, a tree shear not only cuts but also holds the tree once it’s been cut making it a very safe way off taking trees down or lowering the height of hedge rows. Whilst neatly placing the brash in piles ready for burning or feeding into a woodchipper.

Scrub Clearance

We also provide scrub clearance services for developers, where we use our flails and tree shears to clear sites. We can also use our rake riddle buckets to clear sites of mulch after clearing the scrub leaving tidy uniform finish making marking out prior to ground works easier.

General Excavations

Alongside more specialist services we also offer general excavation and ground works, digging out for roads ways and tracks, installing culverts, laying drainage pipes.

Long or short term operated hire

We also offer long, or short term operated excavator hire for a range of clients
